Our program and activities are designed to be an uplifting experience that helps women reach their goals and fulfill the potential God has given them. An out reach ministry for women to remain strong in God and continue their day to day tasks with Gods full impactful blessings and full covering. Here at Overcoming with Jesus, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in helping Jesus to support our fellow sisters in Christ. Our gatherings are all Spirit led, uplifting and God focused. We strive to build strong relationships with one another but most of all to make a positive fruitful impact between ourselves and Jesus.
What We Do
Help to Bring Godly Change to Women’s Lives
Fellowship
Our amazing gatherings offer women a time for fellowship with one another. In a safe community area with a playground for your kids to play. Where women can devote their time to God and refill together in the Spirit.
Free Worship
There are many ways to worship our Lord together. But one of our favorite is through praise and worship. At Overcoming with Jesus we start our gatherings with a time of free worship. Where we can settle in the love of Jesus and let go of any worries and become free within Him. Get in sync with the Holy Spirit so we may be filled and ready to listen to God His still small voice as we push forward into the word.
Testimonies and Praise Reports
We love sharing the Glory of Gods goodness with one another. We always allow time to share all the good He is and has done for us. We open the floor to anyone who would like to share testimonies of breakthrough or revelation. To praise His Name for the blessings and favor He pours out onto us.
Sinking into the Word
Overcoming with Jesus always keeps our centered scripture in mind-
“We do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” II Corinthians 4:18 NKJV
As we center around this we focus on our faith towards God and His sacrificial love which has brought us everlasting life, blessings, favor, grace and righteousness. So when we gather we talk to God and read His word and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance as our discussion unfolds.
Prayer
Prayer is a big part of Overcoming with Jesus. God says “Where two or more are gathered, He is there in the midsts.” He also says, “Am and you shall receive.” We do both! We gather in His Name and we ask Him for the things we need and thank Him for the things we have. We lift up each other in prayers and future thanks for the will of God are in the works. We ask for healing, breakthrough, chains and bondages to be broken, love to be re lit. We pray for provisions and guidance and much more. We remind ourselves that God is always for us and that nothing is ever too big to ask of Him!
